Senses

In my previous blog I shared about time and that it is one of the most precious gifts given to us. Another gift we have is to be able to feel what others are feeling, to be able to sympathize and empathize to them.

It really saddens me when this gift is not used properly for others. Instead they neglect whatever is there and choose to look for something more. They choose to cling to their fantasy and not face reality.

Eyes that choose not to see

Blind to genuine beauty

Content with just what is given

Leaving no space for reason

Mind that chooses not to think

not knowing that everything is linked

linked together somehow, somewhere

one at mind and one at heart

Heart that chooses not to feel

that all things here are real

accept the fact that your alive

do not run and do not hide

Feet that choose not to stay

on the right path it strays

going east and going west

going in circles, it never ends

Hands that choose not to touch

the lives of others who need much

caring less yet needs more

more of them and less of you

Mouth that chooses not to speak

to make strong, the weak

encouraging words may bring life

to those who are not alive

Ears that choose not to hear

others who are in fear

of what they're in at the moment

just be there, LISTEN!!!!!!!!!
