One of the escapes I do whenever I feel super stressed is that I would look for an adventure. This year though has been a very busy year for me so making time to go to one was difficult. Not until I heard about Budlaan Falls, it is just near the city and doesn't require much time to reach there so I decided to give it a try. Budlaan Falls, located at sitio Baogo Talamban, is just a 30 min. ride from Cebu City which means that for those looking for a cheap and easy adventure, this would be the best place to go to.
Me and my friends met up at Gaisano Grand Mall Talamban, that is also where you can ride a habal-habal to Sitio Baogo. Once you arrive at Sitio Baogo, you have two paths to choose from, the first path is the shorter route where you would only need to hike for about 40 min to arrive to the falls, while the second path is longer and needs you to river trek for two hours before arriving to the falls but by taking this route you would also be able to go experience and see other mini falls.
We obviously decided to take the longer path, this path lets you to pass through 4 other smaller falls where you can get into the water for a swim if you want to. As for our group we just drowned ourselves with the beautiful view the mini falls and surroundings had to offer. We took a dip at the Main falls which was Budlaan Falls and you could just let yourself be free when you're there. =D
