Mantayupan Falls

Traveling and going out on adventures have always been my way to let stressors out of my chaotic brain. Last weekend, I got the chance to go to a waterfall also well known in Cebu - Mantayupan Falls.

Located at Baranggay Campangga, Barili, Mantayupan falls is considered the tallest waterfalls of Cebu. It only takes about an hour or two when driving from the city to arrive in this haven.

Before you get to Barili though, you would be able to pass a famous landmark in Car2x. This rotunda is where you get to choose if you go towards the east or west side of southern Cebu.

It was my second time to go there, but seeing this wonderful natural creation never ceases to amaze me. If you are seeking a place to relax and just feel nature again, then this would be the perfect place. The entrance fee is very cheap and so are the rentals of their tents and chairs.

Once you enter towards Mantayupan falls, you could already see the beauty of nature and appreciate the little things it is offering you. 

You would need to pass a small bridge to get to the top and on this bridge you get a full view of the smaller falls on their lower level.

Once you reach the top, there you would find the marvelous and beautiful Mantayupan Falls.
